newborn hands

Is there something cuter than your newborn hands or feet?

Your newborn’s hands will remain tightly clenched during her first month. But, if you open her tiny fist with your finger, you’ll be surprised by her mighty grip.

This is just a reflex; your baby won’t be able to deliberately hold objects for a while. Although their hands will fascinate her, she hasn’t yet discovered that her hands are a part of her body.

That would happen around 2 or 3 months of age, and she´ll celebrate it by using them to stick anything you give her into her mouth.
