As we learn the other day, we can help enhance the cognitive development of our babies. Between 6 and 9 months old is the moment to prepare a toy box or “treasure box”.

We will do it filling a box with things made of varied materials, such as metal, plastic, different fabrics and wood.

The objects could be toys, but it is funnier if they are daily use objects mixed such a plastic spoon, the cap of a jar, a handkerchief, a wool glove, a little stuffed animal, a wood building block…

Your baby will dump out the box and explore the contents, noticing that they feel different, look different and sound different. The play would go on for hours…
