Why my baby puts everything in his or her mouth?

Babies know the world through the mouth. For them, the mouth acts as a scanner that gives them more information than their eyes or their hands.

When they put things into their mouths, they obtain a lot of data that allows them to better know their environment.

This is a very complex process that we, as parents or caregivers, must allow and respect, except, of course, in case that the baby is going to put something dangerous in his or her mouth.
