One of the mistakes that we make when we are new parents is to compare our baby with others.
Perhaps, you will hear “my baby sleeps through the night”, “my baby smiles, and yours?” … Don’t listen to it. Don’t let other parents make you feel as if your baby is too slow because their children is already an Olympic athlete. Nor is good to focus too much on developmental charts because they are averages.
Babies develop at their own pace, and if yours is within the normal range, relax. However, if you have some doubts about how your baby is developing, talk with your doctor or nurse, they are the best to tell you if there is any problem in your baby development.
