An exercise that can help to strengthen our babies’ muscles is doing the “Bicycling”.
Of course, we don’t mean that a little baby should ride a bicycle.
We are talking about, when the baby is on his back, gently move his legs up and around, as if he were pedaling a bicycle.
This movement, besides being a natural method to help relieve gas, it’s also a fantastic way to work the legs, hips, knees, and abs.
The movement helps increase flexibility as well as his range of motion.
Coo, smile, sing, or make choo-choo or vroom noises while you do the motion.
Repeat the movement three to five times, take a break, and then repeat.
Keep going as long as your baby shows interest by smiling, making eye contact, and kicking.
