When they are very little, it is better to put everything that you consider that your baby should not touch out of his sight and out of his mind.

Your baby is going to explore his environment, so, everything within reach should be objects he is allowed to touch, hold, and even, get them into his mouth.

When he gets older and begin to understand better verbal instructions, he would understand that there are objects he is allowed to touch and other than not, but, in this first months it is better to let him reach just the objects he can touch.
