Today, we propose you a play named “mommy is sleeping”. For this game, sit or lay near your little one (depending on his age).
Say “mommy is going to sleep now”, and close your eyes. After a few seconds, open your eyes and enthusiastically say “Good morning!” (or “Good afternoon” or “Good evening” to reflect the time of day.)
Seeing Mom’s eyes pop open and hearing her greeting usually makes the baby laugh. After a few rounds, pause longer before opening your eyes to see how your baby reacts.
Babies about 6 months and older will start to vocalize or bat at your face to “wake you up.”
