The everyday activities could be a great school for your toddler. Your little one can learn a lot (letters, colors, numbers) while you are walking, shopping or cooking.
For example, in the kitchen, you can practice the concept of big and small. You can ask your child to help you choose the right container for what you’ll be serving, or to do small and little cookies as you are kneading.
Another thing you can practice is to count, setting the table by the numbers. Ask your child how many napkins and forks you’ll need so everyone gets one.
And then you can go a step forward, asking things like, “But today, grandparents are coming to dinner with us, so, how many forks will we need?”
Your child will learn without noticing.
